'Fired Five' Incident*

Original title of contents binder: "Events Leading To Ryerson Sit-In, Friday, April 3, 1970". This file contains Clippings

Textbook: Gas Turbines (By H.A. Sorensen)*

Donated by S. Molder with a covering explanation: "The book is largely out-of-date and not useful for teaching or for keeping in our library (Mechanical Engineering Departemnt), however it is interesting because it used to belong to D.L. Mordell, and it was acquired by him when he was at McGill University. There he was at one time the Director of the Gas Dynamics Laboratory doing pioneering research work on coal-burning gas turbines. The book represents much of the technical interests of Dr. Mordell".

Memoir Chapters: The Ryerson Years

Photocopies of Chapters 12 to 15 of Dr. Mordell's Memoirs, dealing with his tenure at Ryerson. The complete original Memoirs were kept by the donor, as they constituted the only available copy.
