A sample set of punched computer examination response cards used by students for the April 1989 examinations. Also included isthe exam analysis print-out. The use of cards was discontinuedafter the end of the December 1989 examinations.

File consists of a blue, gold and white lapel pin in the shape of a microphone. The gold lettering on the face reads “RIT - CJRT”. These pins were made for members of the 1955 RTA graduating class and other individuals in RTA.

Recording: Alfred Hitchcock Address At Convocation Hall (UofT)

Audio magnetic tape of an address given by famed filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock at the University of Toronto's Convocation Hall in 1967. No other details were made available. A label on the box containing the tape provides the following title, "Alfred Hitchcock: The Master of Suspense". The date is October 13, 1967. The length is 53 minutes, 30 seconds. Mr. Sauro has provided the following background information:"Alfred Hitchcock visited Toronto as part of a multi-city tour to promote his film "Torn Curtain" because it was his 50th feature film. He was brought to Convocation Hall at the University of Toronto and the event was hosted by the Screen Directors Guild of Toronto.(then,a recently formed organization) I was there and so was CJRT-FM which, at the time, was owned by Ryerson....CJRT recorded the proceedings and subsequently edited the tape and put it on the air.

Jeffrey Perkins' Best Sound Academy Award photograph

An 8x10 black and white print showing Ryerson alumnus Jeffrey Perkins and his crew, backstage at the 63rd Academy Awards with their Oscars for Best Sound for the film Dances With Wolves (1990). Also pictured is actress Diane Weist. Mr. Perkins was the supervising re-recording mixer and was responsible for the film's sound track. In the photograph, he and his three mixers are identified as follows, from left to right: Bill W. Benton, Jeffrey Perkins, Russell Williams II, and Greg Watkins. The photograph's copyright belongs to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Audio interview by Karen Gordon of Alberindo (Al) Sauro in 1997. He expresses his feelings of his time at Ryerson and about other topics.Originally on cassette tape. Karen Gordon gave the tape to Elvino Sauro, Alberindo's brother, in 2007. Elvino, then, cleaned up the tape digitally and dowloaded it to CD-R and donated the CD-R to the Archives.
