A brief (7:40 minutes) retrospect of David Crombie's life and career at Ryerson, presented at a farewell reception celebrating the end of Crombie's term as Ryerson's first Chancellor. Terry Grier, Al Wargo, Lynda Friendly and Claude Lajeunesse gave brief personal comments about the individual, David Crombie.The Ryerson Archives was given credit for the use of archival material about Ryerson and David Crombie.Because this was a joint production of the President's Office and the Office of University Advancement, a decision was made to co-arrange under both Groups. File consists of the official gown and mortarboard worn by Terry Grier at convocation ceremonies during his tenure as Ryerson's President. The blue gown is a combination of rayon and velvet with gold embossed trim. The mortarboard is blue velvet with gold.
File consists of a purple gown with blue velvet trim and gold embossed trim. Photographic evidence suggests that this gown was worn at convocation ceremonies by Principal/President Fred Jorgenson, President Donald Mordell and President Walter Pitman during the mid to late 1960s until the later 1970s.

Oversized novelty cheque actually signed by Dianne Cunningham, Minister of Training, College and Universities, was presented to Ryerson from the Ontario SuperBuild program, in the amount of $12.5 million dollars.
Letter of congratulations and an 8 x 10 colour photograph of Malgorzata Zywno, Electrical Engineering faculty member, from the Center for the Advancement ofTeaching and Learning, Jacksonville, Florida. Gosha Zywno was a recipient of an "Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Technology", presented at the Fifteenth International Conference on College Teaching and Learning.

The President's Newsletter, issued bi-annually, Spring and Fall, discussed updates and noteworthly events related to the school and faculty in a hardcopy format. It was discontinued as of October 19th, 2009 and replaced with the wholly digital, Ryerson Today.
