Donor note: The 40th Anniversary issue includes an article about all the editors of the periodical to date. Of particular interest is the section devoted to the four years Frogpond was published by its first Canadian editor, George Swede and his Canadian co-editor. Anta Krumins, both from Ryerson University. As the author, Charles Trumbull, states, they introduced a number of innovations in format and content, resulting in the 'professionalization' of the magazine. - December 2017.
