The Food Services department is responsible for providing food for the campus community at Ryerson University.
Since 2013, Ryerson has committed to using 25 per cent of food sourced from local, sustainable providers for campus meals; increased choices for community members with allergies and dietary restrictions; returned to scratch-made cooking; and significantly decreased the use of frozen, pre-packed meals. The university also branded Ryerson Food Services as “Ryerson Eats” and refurbished the Hub Café in Jorgenson Hall.
Chartwells is the Food Service Management Operator for Ryerson University as of 2013.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of records related to Food Services and Ryerson Institute of Technology's School of Food Technology. In 2013 Chartwells signed a food services contract with Ryerson replacing long-time providers, Aramark.
