Kathy English taught Journalism courses at the Ryerson School of Journalism from 1989-1999. Courses taught included print reporting, feature writing, media law, and Canadian news media. Committee work included curriculum committee, hiring committee, and diversity committee. Kathy is currently the Public Editor of the Toronto Star. She is a member of the Canadian Journalism Association Ethics Panel and on the executive committee of the Canadian Journalism Foundation.
