Biographical history
Edgar Henson joined the Provincial Institute of Trades and the Ryerson Training and Re-establishment Institute following his discharge from the Navy in 1946. He taught at Ryerson in the School of Furniture Arts & Interior Design from 1948 until 1960, at which time he left to incorporate his own furniture business.
