Item is an albumen print mounted on white mat board. Depicts exterior of four storey white stone building in the style of the early Chicago school. Horses and carriages are on the street in front. Top of building reads "McInnes & Co."

Item is a cream coloured cabinet card with full length portrait of a young boy, probably about 5 or 6 years old, in a wool suit with checkered tie, standing at a table with toy horse and carriage. At the bottom left of the photograph, handwritten in pencil, "Bowmanville". On verso, photographer's stamp reads "R. & H./ O'HARA,/ Photographers,/ Booksellers, Insurance/ Agents, & c.,/ MARKET BUILDINGS./ BOWMANVILLE./ Extra copies/ at any time."

Sackville Street, Dublin

Lantern slide, glass slide in wood frame. Image area is circular as is the hole in the wood frame. Illustration is hand painted onto the glass. Handwritten on sticker "Ireland - Sackville Street, Dublin." Illustration of a busy street scene with people, horse & buggies, streetcar with buildings on either side of the street, and the Nelson's Pillar at the end of the street. Cobblestone street, men in top hats. Please note, date is based on the knowledge that since 1924, the street has been known as O'Connell Street, Dublin's main thoroughfare. The Nelson's Pillar was erected in 1808 and destroyed by a bomb in 1966. It is a granite pillar topped by a statue of Horatio, Lord Nelson.

Glass slide, handpainted over B&W slide. No wood frame. Black frame with gold letters "Edward Van Altena 71-79W. 45th St., N.Y.C." Slide is numbered 54 in the series. Black paper around glass edges. Not as heavily painted as the other slides. Some of the black & white image shows through, like it was never hand painted. Image is a scene of people in carriages, on horses, a barn, a ditch, some sheep.

Portrait of a child in stroller

Item consists of a photograph mounted flush with plain beige card. Edges of negative, probably plastic, are visible. Photograph shows a boy seated in a four wheeled stroller with cushions, a blanket and an umbrella. The child wears a dark suit jacket with bishop sleeves and white trim, sailor suit style and a large lace collar. Stroller is placed in front a blank studio canvas.

South Africa horse album

Red cloth cover with embossed gold design. Watermark and stains on cover. White pages with two window openings per page.
Photographs are mostly taken in South Africa. Included are photographs of De Aar, which at the time was the second-most important railway junction in the country. Photographs are mostly of horses on polo fields, some of people playing polo, some of trains and people with horses. There are also photographs of military and military camps, and a photograph at Vry Staat Hotel.

Prince of Wales

Item is a photograph of a busy street with pedestrians, carriages, and men in uniform. Inscription on verso reads "Edward Albert, Prince of Wales' first visit to Canada. Taken near the art gallery, Montreal where the salute was taken, Monday Oct 1919."

Brown suede cover slip with some sort of faded decorative drawing; slipped over maroon hard-cover. Grey pages. Some photograph peeling away from pages; protective paper inserted between pages. A few lose photographs. Many pages left blank.

Themes include portraits, horse-drawn carriages, landscapes, waterscapes.

Includes a photograph of B. Heyman Furniture Co. in Phoenix, Arizona while located at the Anderson building on the northwest corner of Washington and 1st Street. The Anderson Building was built in 1888 and lasted until the 1980's. Also includes a photograph of Davidson's Cash Store, believed to be in Phoenix, Arizona c. 1902.

Item is a grey card with rectangular embossed border with photograph inset of a boy holding the handle of a wagon in which a little girl is seated. The pair are on a wooden walkway at the side of a house. The girl wears a white lace dress and bonnet, and is seated on top of blankets. The boy wears a long jacket with low-waisted belt and ascot tie.
