Biographical history
Brij Raj Kishore Kashyap was an instructor of Business Statistics at Ryerson University. Kashyap earned his BA (Hons.) and MA from Panjab University and his PhD from the University of Jodhpur. He was a professor of Operations Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He was a professional member of the Operational Research Society of India, the Operations Research Society of America, and the Indian Institute of Public Administration. Kashyap has had a long career teaching in various science, engineering, commerce, and management faculties and has held several visiting research and teaching assignments at Canadian and US universities. He is co-author of "Special Functions in Queueing Theory," Academic Press, New York, 1982. His research has appeared in the journals Operations Research, Opsearch, Metrika, Sankhya, European Journal of OR, and others.
