Name of creator
Portrait studio in Kitchener, run by photographer Charles Belair. The studio was located across from the Kitchener City Hall from 1933 until 1973, when the studio was moved to King Street, this time across the street from the Grand River Hospital. Over the 75 year history of the studio, Belair made an estimated 22,200 photographs and sitters included William Lyon Mackenzie King, the Emperor of Japan, and King George VI during a 1939 visit to Canada.
