Photographs are amateur family snapshots taken at various locations including houses and a log cabin. File contains double-sided stereographs (with images on both sides of the card) that depict buildings, animals and people at the beach, a lake, a creek bank, an island in the middle of a lake with a person on it a street scene, an Indigenous Person and Paul Wing Jr.

Beneath the image reads: In 1923, you had to fiddle around and set exposure for sun or shade. / Now any electric-eye KODAK INSTAMATIC Camera measures the / light and sets the exposure for you automatically -- for black-and-white / and color pictures, and color slides.

Photographs are mostly family snapshots, on the beach, at home, having a picnic and by the lake; some include domestic animals. Some photographs taken Ottawa, and Niagara Falls, and at Balboa Island, California, among other destinations.

Photo stores include Thompson's Camera and Art Store.
Date on the back of a loose photograph says "Apr. / 30".

WWI family album

Brown cloth cover with gold embossed letters- "Photographs." Black pages with photographs mounted with glue. Notation on photo borders with black ink. Sewn binding. Photographs are mostly family snapshots of people, sometimes with automobiles or in uniform from the Northcote family. Also included are images of golfing, bridges, fishing, horse riding, camping, farms, cattle, sheep, chicken coops, horse drawn sleigh, the beach, trees, houses, dogs, trains, children, biking, deer and wagons. Three newspaper articles are pasted in. One about the Northcote family (mother, six sons and two daughters) all serving in the war, one about Pte. Wm. Clements dying in battle, and one of Corporal Northcote being the first Royal Engineer to be awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal.

Balmoral album

No binding - album pages are loose. Black cover embossed with "Photographs" in gold. Black pages, photos glued in.
Notes with album suggest the Parkdale Train Station, Hepworth, and Balmoral. Almost all photographs peeling away from pages. Some photographs quite yellow, some fading especially around edges.

Photographs are amateur snapshots of a cottage, children and family, picnics, parks, a wedding, canoeing, the beach, biking, landscapes, an automobile with a 1920s liscence plate number, posed group shots in many different locations, a horse drawn carriage, all thought to be taken around or near the Toronto area.
One photograph appears to either be a double exposure, or a photograph taken looking through a window and has captured the reflction in the window as well as the view beyond.

Sites and locations include The Simkincoe, located at Jackson's Point, Ontario.

Utah

Six gelatin silver prints mounted on either side of cardboard. Images are of Salt Lake City, Saltair Beach and a Mormon Tabernacle. Inscription in ink reads, 'Salt Lake City Utah' and 'Utah 1903'. Inscription in pencil reads '$100' and '$100 SITA'.

Ferdinand, Daytona Beach Florida

Title taken from card-frame. The bull in the picture with the name Ferdinand on the card-frame could be referencing the children story of Ferdinand The Bull from 1935, made into a cartoon in 1938 by Walt Disney - this would potentially date the image from after 1938. The tintype is an image of a bull with a man sitting on its back, arms in the air and holding two guns. Another man stands beside the bull, in sunglasses and a hat. They seem to be standing on a beach.
