This item is a metal stereoscope binocular viewer with extendable legs and mirrored sides. This object was used to view aerial photographs and survey maps of land. In the 1920's Fairchild Aviation became the second-largest manufacturer of commercial air planes and fourth largest aviation organization in the United States of America.
